DARK – Smart Builder Gel 05 – 15 ml

DESCRIPTION:

• Suitable for both long and short nails;
• Withstands high temperatures, allowing proper pinching;
• Recommended to cure at low power and remove the hand if burning occurs;
• Strong but not brittle.

HOW IS SMART GEL DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BUILDER GELS?

• Slightly thinner consistency while remaining firm;
• Tack-free, no sticky layer;
• No need to remove the sticky layer when working with SCOTCH BASE DARK;
• No need to remove the sticky layer before applying the top coat;
• Minimal risk of lifting.

APPLICATION METHOD:

1. Perform a manicure, buff and clean the nail, apply Ultrabond and Dehydrator;
2. Apply a thin layer of clear SCOTCH BASE with rubbing motions, cure for 60 seconds;
3. Proceed with strengthening or extension using DARK SMART BUILDER GEL. Polymerization time: 60–90 seconds at 48W (depending on pigment);
4. For all DARK materials, use UV/LED lamps;
5. If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file;
6. Apply top coat, cure for 90 seconds.

WORKING TIPS:

• Works well with upper forms;
• Pinch gel at 12–15 seconds;
• Intermittent curing possible from 15 seconds;
• Do not apply deep under the cuticle – ensure smooth transition with minimal thickness;
• When strengthening, file natural nail 1 mm from inside to avoid lifting;
• If using a base from other brands, remove the sticky layer;
• The clearer the gel, the harder it is;
• If thickened due to cold, warm the needed amount separately on a palette;
• Glitter gels should be mixed before use;
• All DARK solid gels are acid-free.

Gels should be kept below 38 C. The primary sign of overheating is when the gel has become too liquid. The gel, which has become “liquidy”, can still be saved by placing it in a cooler place. If lumps have already started to form in the gel, then the gel has already started to harden, has deteriorated and this process can no longer be stopped. The gel jar (even when closed) must not be exposed to direct sunlight. A working UV lamp on the table, plus a strong heat-emitting table lamp and, in addition, direct sunlight through the window, can noticeably bring the temperature around your work table above normal. Gels should be stored in a cool, dark place. After using the gel, make sure that the edges of the gel jar are clean of the gel. If the gel stays on the edges of the gel jar and you close the jar without cleaning, the gel may act like glue and the jar cannot be opened later.
