A dust collector is an essential piece of kit for a nail technician, and finding the right machine is a serious business. The dust collector needs to be powerful – if you economize on power now, you’ll pay for it down the line. However, the machine must also be quiet, so you can talk with your clients at a normal volume and end the day without a splitting headache. In short, a dust collector has to be powerful and quiet, ensure completely dust-free work and collect all dust, odours and vapours produced during the work process. Furthermore, compared to the products based on the so-called standard system i.e. a filter visible through the table mesh, Taifun nail dust collectors have one big advantage.

ZF technology

Our patented ZF technology developed in 2011 ensures pre-filter separation of coarse dust from fine powdery dust and fine smoke-like dust. This important feature reduces the frequency of essential cleaning because coarse particles, i.e. around 50% of all particles, never reach the filter and settle in the coarse particle tray, whereas fine particles (i.e. the other 50% of the dust) form a dust blanket easily penetrable by air.

Thanks to this construction feature, the collector’s filter only needs to be cleaned once every 10-30 days, depending on the model. This unprecedented performance is achieved through innovative technical features and the separation of dust before it reaches the filter.

The filter

The filter – or more accurately the filter system – is an important element of a nail dust collector. It captures dust particles, including the very finest, as well as odours and vapours, providing healthier working conditions for the user. In addition to the main filter with a layer of activated carbon,, a special synthetic odour removal filter suitable for working with acrylic is also available. This filter is also recommended for users who suffer from allergies.

Taifun I GreenTech with dust separation technology

This is another upgrade of the Taifun I model, now with efficient and energy-saving GreenTech EC technology, producing almost 20% more output power and up to 30 % less energy consumption compared to the previous model. The exterior design has also been improved.

The Taifun I Premium GreenTech is a new addition to our famous, best-selling Taifun 1 line of professional nail dust collectors

The new model of course features pre-filter separation technology, reducing cleaning frequency to once every two or three weeks. This relatively small in-built model is distinguished by the combination of incredibly powerful airflow of 400 m³/h and high vacuum of 600 Pa.
